A chilly view from the front porch.
A blizzard last Sunday brought a cold front down from the north and drove the temps down to eyeball numbing levels. On Monday the high for the day was zero.
The cold temperatures and bad roads delayed the start of school for a couple of days, but it didn't keep the kids from going out to enjoy the white stuff.
Kenrick and Paxton set up a ramp at the bottom of the hill. Serious air.
Our cold snap didn't last long, with temperatures more normal by the end of the week. That was a relief, but then it got too warm and rained and melted almost all our snow. Phooey.
Happy New Year!
