City Museum

Last Thursday Cliff and Mary picked up Kenrick and Anthony and took them down to St. Louis to visit City Museum, an "eclectic mixture of children's playground, funhouse, surrealistic pavilion, and architectural marvel made out of unique, found objects".  When Cliff called to ask if they could take the boys, he said that he'd been wanting to go for a while, but felt like he needed to borrow a few kids to take along.  We were more than happy to accommodate.

The kids had a wonderful time, and I think the grown-ups did too.  Kenrick and Anthony could hardly stop talking about all the stuff they saw and did and want to go back as soon as possible.

Kenrick took his new camera along at got a few pictures to go along with the memories.

A closer look. All this stuff is made out of things that were found in and around St. Louis. Kenrick said that they climbed all the way to the top. "It was a little scary."

 

The museum also contains a large aquarium.  Kenrick took lots of pictures of fish.

Also, an aquarium wouldn't be complete without a crocodile, would it?
